Ubiquiti UniFi AC In-Wall is small and discrete 802.11ac UAP device. It is 2x2 MIMO 2.4G and 2x2 MIMO 5G AP with throughput up to 1167Mbps and supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. UAP-AC-IW is designed for offices and hotels. It contains 1 built-in antenna (1dBi / 2.4G, 2dBi/5G) for range up to 25m. This device fully supports roaming and has 3x 10/100/1000Mbps LAN with PoE IN on back port and PoE OUT on one of the front ports - only 802.3af output supported.
Power over Ethernet
UAP-AC-IW is designed for simple use and quick instalation, but with advanced functions. UAP-AC-IW has 3 eth ports. The first one on the back side designated for device powering - 48V passive PoE, 802.3af and 802.3at. On the front panel are 2 eth ports - one of them supports 802.3af PoE OUT (for example for UVP) and the second is only data port (for example for PC). All ports are 10/100/1000Mbps.

Unit central management
UniFi APs doesn't have own web GUI and you manage them via UniFi Controller, which you can download on UBNT websites here: http://www.ubnt.com. Or you can manage UAP devices using UniFi Cloud Key which has UniFi Controller preinstalled. Additional benefit is fact that UniFi Controller software is free of costs and includes advanced functions without limitations.
