Product description
The MC420L is a media converter designed for conversion between optical and metallic fibers. It supports IEEE 802.3ae (10GBASE-SR/LR) standards for multimode and singlemode optical fibers using an SFP+ module, as well as IEEE 802.3an (10GBASE-T) for transmission over metallic cables.
The MC420L can be installed as a desktop device or inserted into a slot chassis (TP-Link MC1400). Easily visible LED indicators on the front panel provide real-time status information for monitoring network activity. The maximum transmission distance of optical fibers depends on the inserted SFP module.
