UniFi Dream Machine Pro from Ubiquiti is an all-in-one network solution for small or medium-sized businesses. It is a very powerful 1U device to 19" rack and combines the following features:
- Manageable 8-port Gigabit switch with one SFP/SFP+ port and VLAN support
- Multiple WAN capability via Gigabit Ethernet or SFP/SFP+ port
- UniFi Security Gateway - offers advanced firewall policies and persistent threat management to act as an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
- UniFi Controller - The UniFi Network Controller can provision UniFi devices, map out networks, and quickly manage system traffic.
- UniFi Video - the 3.5" HDD slot is used for storing camera recordings
- VPN server
Superior Performance
UniFi Dream Machine Pro offers significantly higher performance than previous generations of UniFi Security Gateway. The device is equipped with a 4-core ARM Cortex-A57 CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz, 4 GB RAM, and an internal 16GB eMMC storage. With such a device, the iPerf3 throughput test showed a worthy 3.5Gbps.
